Benson sits on the end of the bed and enjoys the taste of the blood that he finished. He and Elisya share a warm smile.

Elisya looks at Benson and asks, "would you like to go for a walk outside?? It is dark now, so we will be able to stay out for as long as you like. But we have to be back before the sun has risen."

Benson nods and walks to the door, putting on his coat. Elisya grabs her cloak from the cupboard and puts it on as she too, heads for the door.

Once outside, Benson looks around with his new sight and is utterly amazed at the sight before him- all the colours he could see with his human eye seemed more brighter than ever they had.

Elisya smiled at the look of wonder and amazement on Bensons face. "shall we???", she ask him. Benson nods and links hands with Elisya, hardly able to keep the smile off his face as they walk to the forest.

After a short time, they arrive at the forest. They enter slowly, enjoying the sound that is now more crisp and beautiful that it had ever been. They came to a clearing and stop after hearing a noise on the other side. Minutes later, a deer comes out into the clearing and stands there looking at them.

After a few moments, the deer wanders off in search of leaves and things to eat. Elisya and Benson continue on their walk without encountering any more animals. Benson notices that he is starting to feel thirsty, so he suggests that they head back to the inn and grab a drink.

Elisya and Benson head back to town slowly, enjoying each other's company and the silence of the night. They come to the edge of the forest and can see the inn, but something happening at the edge of an alley to their left, catches Benson's eye. He walks over to the alley where an young woman is being harassed by a man in leather. "excuse me miss," Benson asks. "is this man bothering you?" the young woman looks at Benson and nods quietly.

The man in leather looks at Benson, sizing him up. Elisya notices the interaction between the men and the woman and comes over to lend a hand.

"What seems to be the problem here?", she asks. The man in leather looks at Elisya, sizing her up. "what do you want?", the man asks Elisya.

"you won't want to try anything Sir"", she says, reading his thoughts.

The man looks at her, a worried expression creeping onto his gaunt, yellow face. He grunts something inaudible and walks away, leaving the woman alone in the alley with Benson and Elisya.

The young woman introduces herself. "I'm Sally Porter, thank you for helping me", she says. Benson and Elisya nod at Sally, who was now looking at the pair of them with a look of curiosity.

Benson smiles at Sally who asks, "what are you?" Benson looks at Elisya who nods in response. "We are Vampires, Sally. We do not drink from humans if we can avoid it.", Benson tells her.

Sally looked from Elisya to Benson. "how long have you been Vampires?" she asks Elisya. Benson and Elisya look at Sally, who seemed very interested in them.

Elisya answers, "I am 2000 years old and Benson here, is newly turned." Sally gasps at the knowledge that she has been given and says, "you, survive on blood and you don't go out in sunlight. That is why you walk the town at night."

Both Benson and Elisya nod. Sally smiles.

Benson reads Sally's mind and says, "yes we can be friends". Sally, Benson and Elisya smile at each other. "where are you staying tonight?" Elisya asks Sally.

"I am staying at the Inn. In room 312."

"we will walk you back to the inn. It is starting to get light. We need to get back to the inn ourselves.", Elisya says. The three of them walk home, with everyone outside watching them.

Benson woke up at 6pm and looks at Elisya.

"What happened?", he asked. "how did you do that?", he added. Elisya looked at Benson and says, "you passed out from the overload of information via telepathic temple link. (similar to Spock and the Mind meld.)"

Benson sits up on the bed slowly.

"no I haven't bitten you my friend", Elisya says, seeing Benson reaching for his neck instinctively. Benson seemed to be a little taken aback by this news.

"who do you feed on when you go hunting?", he asks. "I don't hunt people, if that's what you are wondering", Elisya says. "I get my drinks from the barman downstairs", She adds.

Benson looks at Elisya and says, "would you ever bite me?" Elisya looks at Benson with concern etched on her face. She is unsure why Benson would ask for such a thing.

"why would you ask me this Benson, after I just told you that I don't hunt people?", she asks him. She watches Benson carefully assessing if he has good intentions or not. Nothing happens so she relaxes.

Benson draws a breath and says carefully, "I want to be with you Elisya. Ever since you saved me, I haven't been able to get you out of my head."

"let's go downstairs, I'll order you some food and myself a drink.", Elisya says. Benson and Elisya go downstairs.

Once in the bar downstairs, Elisya and Benson find a quiet spot in the corner of the room to sit and talk. Elisya orders Benson a steak and chips with a beer and she orders a bottle and a single glass for herself.

While Benson and Elisya waited for their order, Elisya asked, "when you say that you want to be with me, what do you mean?".

Benson looks at Elisya warmly and says, "do you not know?" Elisya looks back at Benson and it dawns on her. "you want me to turn you into a Vampire like me?", She asks.

Their order arrives and Elisya pours herself a glass of blood and waits for Benson to open his beer. The pair exchange looks and then after a few moments Elisya asks, "why do you want to become a Vampire?" "you have so many things to do and see"

Benson eats his steak and chips and sips on the beer. He looks at Elisya as he takes another sip of his beer. Elisya finishes her glass and looks out the window. There was a light breeze outside and seeing this, Elisya says, "let's go for a walk". She beckons for Benson to follow her outdoors into the forest.

They were walking along when they came across an older man picking on the younger man beside him. Elisya walks over and asks what the problem is. On being told to mind herself, she replies, "I would be very careful how you treat people, you might find yourself needing help"

"oh yeah?", the older man says menacingly. "yes", Elisya replies calmly. She is looking at the man who is sizing her up. Benson stays a little way behind, waiting to see what happens next.

Elisya takes a step toward the older man and gives a low hiss. The man backs away and runs off. The young man says thank you and heads home.

Elisya and Benson continue on their walk, which is uneventful. After a few hours (they had lost track of time) Benson says, "the sun is on the rise. We better head back to the inn." Elisya nods and they head back home to the inn.

Once in the bedroom, (Benson had asked the innkeeper for a bottle of blood and two glasses this time. The innkeeper nodded and told Benson that he would bring them up.) Benson and Elisya sit on the bed and wait for the bottle and two glasses.

The bottle and glasses arrive and after Benson had shut the door, he pours a glass of blood for Elisya, who drinks it slowly. He watches her drink until it is finished, then tops up her glass. Benson sits beside her on the bed again and pulls out his pocket hunting knife.

Elisya looks up from her glass and says, What is that knife for? ". Benson looks at Elisya and says quietly," I have lost everyone that I cared about. I don't want to lose you too."

" yes, my father is still alive, but he is a Vampire hunter and I don't want to follow that life." he adds. Elisya looks at Benson and says, "you want me to turn you because you think it will make your father love you more".

Benson nods his head quietly, looking at his knife. Elisya runs her hand down his face until her hand is under his chin. She lifts his face until his eyes meet hers.

"OK, I'll turn you. Not because I think it will help, but because I love you and want to be with you." Benson raises the knife to his forearm, but Elisya pushes his arm down and pulls him into a hug.

Benson moves his head so that it rests on her right shoulder. Elisya smiles and kisses his neck gently before whispering," you are mine now". With that, she bites into his neck and holds him tightly as the blood rushes into her mouth. Benson goes limp and Elisya stops feeding from him and lies him down on the bed.

Benson looks at Elisya longingly. Elisya takes the knife and opens up her wrist, allowing Benson to drink from her. "my blood will heal your wound and you will be a Vampire from tonight onward. No more sunlight and no more having to wander this world alone."

Benson drinks from the wound in Elisya's wrist. Soon he is healed and thirsty. Elisya pours a drink for Benson and herself. She hands him the glass and he drinks slowly, getting accustomed to the new taste that will sustain him from now on.

"This is sweet tasting", he says after a few sips. Elisya nods and smiles.

Benson looks at Elisya and asks, "are you going to feed on me?" Elisya looks gently at Benson.

"what makes you ask that question? Do you want me to?" Elisya looks at Benson, waiting for an answer. Benson looks around the room and draws a breath before replying, "ever since I met you, I haven't been able to forget you and the selfless act of protecting me."

"i have seen nothing but death since you left and I dont want to follow in my father's footsteps. He was a hunter and I don't believe that it is right."

Benson and Elisya exchange gentle glances at each other, before Benson continues talking.

"I want to know more about how you became a Vampire. If that is OK?" Benson looks at Elisya with a look of concern on his face.

Elisya smiles and looks warmly at Benson. Benson smiles back at Elisya, relaxed now that he knows it was OK to ask that question.

"What would you like to know Benson? " Elisya asks.

"In what circumstance did you become a Vampire?" Benson asks. Elisya sits beside Benson and says, "it will be better to show you", She puts her left hand to his left temple and he starts to see the images of Elisya walking through a forest in the town of Kella County, in England.

He then sees a dark figure surround her and when he withdraws, Elisya had bite marks on her neck and she is unmoving, the vision shifts and she is awake in the forest and clutching at her throat. She staggers into the town and stays in her parents barn.

The vision shifts again and Elisya is standing in front of a boy she doesn't know, protecting him from the three bullies that stood in front of her. Moments later the vision shifts again to the inn of this town (Tekana, USA.) and the meeting of Benson in the bar.

Elisya removes her hand from Benson's temple and he falls onto the bed.

"shall we leave the bar and head upstairs to my room?", Elisya asks Benson. Benson nods and follows Elisya upstairs.

They approach the room and enter. Elisya puts her jacket on the bed and waits for Benson to sit down. Benson sits on the bed and looks around the room which was bare, save for the curtains, bed and wardrobe.

"how have you been Benson, since I last saw you?, Elisya asks Benson. Benson is nervously watching Elisya... After seeing her drinking blood in the bar, he was starting to worry.

Elisya, sensing this says," it's ok Benson, I'm not going to hurt you. Why would I hurt someone that I saved from bullies all those years ago?" Elisya smiles warmly and sits on the other side of the bed. Benson's relaxes a little.

"other than the fact that I saved you when you were a young boy, what made you come looking for me and how did you find me here, when I had told no one where I was going?" Elisya asks.

"I had a feeling that you preferred travelling at night, since that was how we met when I was 13. And I knew you would be here because it is the only town that is close to my hometown.", Benson replied.

"How old do you think I am Benson?", Elisya asked. Benson looked shocked at the question but replies, "31?". Elisya smiles and says, "no, I am 2000 years old. I am a Vampire, Benson.

Benson looks at Elisya, a shocked expression on his face. He starts shaking his head." you can't be, it's been 10 years since I last saw you. You cannot be that old. You look too young to be a Vampire." He says.

"why do you think I was drinking blood in the bar?" Elisya asked Benson.

Her name is Elisya, she is 2,000 years old with long back hair, and purple eyes. She has pearly white skin and sharp white fangs- she is a Vampire.

Elisya walks along the dark, cold streets, looking for a building. She finds the building-an old Inn, and, after entering, takes a seat in the corner away from everyone else. She prefers to be alone.

She nods at the Innkeeper, who brings her a bottle and one glass. Upon receiving these items from the innkeeper, she pours herself a drink and places the bottle back on the table. She smiles as the liquid goes down her throat- it is blood that has been kept aside for her.

A few moments later, she catches the scent of a newcomer to the inn. She waits and watches the innkeeper- he is explaining to the newcomer that he had better be careful... Strange things happening in town.

This newcomer looked familiar to her. He turned around, surveying the tables for an empty seat. The only seats left were at her table. Elisya motions for the young man to Come over and have a seat.

The innkeeper comes over with a bottle of beer for the young man. The young man thanks him and waits quietly for the young woman to speak.

"What brings you to the Inn, young man?", Elisya asks him. The young man was looking at the glass which Elisya was now refilling, having finished the first one.

"My name is Benson Rennolds and I am looking for someone. She is a woman about your age, perhaps you know her. Her name is Elisya Tennyson." he replies.

Elisya looks at Benson after learning that he has been looking for her.

"what do you want with her, Benson?", she asks him.

"I need to tell her that I have never forgotten her and that I need to thank her for saving my life when I was a young boy", he tells her.

Elisya smiled at him and said, "you found me". Benson is shocked to see that this woman is the same woman that saved him all those years ago.
